So is the Joondalup Hobbies Pro-Am happening next Sunday? I hope so. Looking forward to another great event to be held by MORBC.

This was floating around the track today it would have to be organized very quickly as there is only 7 days left and i would say the track needs a bit of rolling or packing to be ready. If its on we will be there.....

Yes it is, FDI permitting. Race entry is open.

Haley will be here next weekend, so will probably be there too - He seems to be doing more racing in WA than QLD lately!

At the end of today there is a very nice groove fromed on the track with plenty of rubber laid down and only a small amount of track work required.
So if you have little to do on saturday please give us a hand for some small tasks as even an hour of your time is greatly appreciated!! :D

Are you allowed to enter both buggy and truggy? Or is it like the last pro-am with only one class entry allowed?

No mate, all MORBC trophy days are open to all drivers

I'll give two classes some thought; it's a marshalling problem and with limeted numbers it gets worse, it was also done to protect the truggy drivers that race the class week in week out from hotshot drivers that ain't intrested in the class, only the extra trophy, although I know Peter and Jake run both at most race days so that dosent apply to you guys ,

Would be nice for some feedback from the truggy drivers about it

Tommo we will only be running Truggy this event as the Buggy will be all ready for the Nationals but yes normally we run both classes when we are allowed. I'm easy fixed if some want to run both classes i say let them but like Jaicob i know last meet he was helping marshaling when he was not meant to be as some of the races clashed with his race/marshal duties and if needed im always happy to run out as well if the cars are all good.

I was planning on racing Both classes Tommo in preperation for the WA State Titles as I believe this is the last trophy day before the states.

If you class me as a trophy hunter and would like me to only do one class, that's not a problem. :) I might pick truggy just to give Jaicob a run for his money. :lol:

no brendan, you are another good driver that regularly runs both classes......

but it has been known that some drivers that have no love for truggies to pull one out just for a trophy day....it was that which i was trying to curtail, as it used to peeve me off when i was runing the class all year, and not get a look in at the trophy days...some will disagree with me..but most wouldn't { truggy drivers that is}

as long as the marshalling is done and we have pit crews for the drivers that need it in the finals..I cant see a problem.....but it will cost you two entry fees though!
